The last blog was related to the ankle surgery. I'm happy to report the healing went well and we are back to normal except for separating my shoulder on old years eve. I was sledding with my 5 yr old granddaughter when we did a flip and I hit a rut on the point of my shoulder. It was very exciting and as I was rolling around groaning she asked "Grampa are you dead".
Doc says it will take about a month to heal so that isn't too bad.The forging is on hold but I can still grind. Changing belts causes a few grunts. This weekend I'm heading north to pick up a bunch of black cherry burls (bringing my IGOR son to do the lifting). So look forward to some interesting handles in the future.
